The first stage of the Data Centre DC 1 Project, implemented as a Design & Build initiative, is located within the Ras Bufontas area of the Qatar Free Zone. This stage aims to establish a 3000m2 Data Suite whitespace operating at a capacity of 2 kW/m2, delivering a cumulative IT power of 6MW. This involves the comprehensive process of designing, producing, and delivering the Data Centre Building along with its site boundaries, encompassing security fencing and gates. Additionally, the execution of the fitout for the Data Halls is part of this project’s scope.
Scope of Works:
The project includes building concrete foundations and waterproofing them for protection. It involves detailed plans for Structural Steel, architectural finishes, Aluminum Works, Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm installations (base‐build only), and MEP Works (base‐build only), focusing on essential mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
